The manager of a McDonald’s in Hereford recently received recognition for being among the top performers in the global company, the company announced recently.
Wes Gaffney, manager of the Hereford location, became one of 395 McDonald’s managers across 70 markets to earn the Ray Kroc Award. This award, named after the corporation’s founder, has recognized “hardworking restaurant managers” since 1999.
Gaffney’s care and compassion for his employees and community, along with hosting events and fundraisers for local schools and organizations, earned him the award.
“Being honored with the Ray Kroc Award isn’t just a reflection of my own contributions, it’s a testament to the hard work of our entire team day in and day out,” Gaffney said. “I hope this accomplishment serves as inspiration to our team of what they can accomplish within the McDonald’s system.”
