Crescent Park Church of Christ hosts ‘ Spring Cleaning of the Soul’ event

The ladies of Crescent Park Church of Christ hosted a morning of reflection and renewal recognizing the “Cobwebs in the Christian Soul” and learning how to deal with them during their “Spring Cleaning of the Christian Soul” presentation by Mrs. Gayla Wood of Mansfield, Texas, on Saturday, April 29,2023 at the Crescent Park Church of Christ in Littlefield, Texas.

Coffee and refreshments were served in the foyer of the church. Peach Schroeder welcomed guests and led the singing.

Mrs. Wood then presented her program. She explained how the “cobwebs” can grow and be invisible to the soul until an unexpected ray of light brings them into view. She then offered scriptures and lively narratives to remind all present how Christians can deal with the negative thoughts and behaviors that all people succumb to, especially in difficult times.

Following Mrs. Woods presentation, the ladies of the Crescent Park Church served lunch before adjourning.
