During the third quarter of last Friday night’s Littlefield versus Seminole football game, little cheerleaders who attended this summer’s Littlefield Cheer Camp, got a chance to cheer with the Wildcat Cheerleaders.

They were playing their instruments as they marched into the formations they were to perform during the Wildcats’ home game with the Seminole Indians Friday night.

Volleyball teams lose to Lamesa

The Littlefield Lady Cat volleyball team continued its season Tuesday night with a game at Lamesa. Littlefield fell in three straight sets. They lost the first match, 25-21, then dropped the second, 25-18 and 25-23. The Lady Cats continued their season Tuesday with a home game against Sanford Fritch.

EYE ON THE BALL

Littlefield’s Kaylee Edgemon tried for the block in last week’s game at home against Denver City. The Lady Cats fell to the Fillies in three straight sets. Edgemon and her teammates took on Shallowater Saturday (yesterday) and will host Sanford Fritch this Tuesday night.

The Littlefield Lady Cat Volleyball team took on Denver City Saturday and fell in three sets 25- 18, 25-12 and 25-13. The Lady Cats continued their season Tuesday at Lamesa. Stats for the game against Denver City were:

It’s hard to put into words how frustrating Littlefield’s current three-game losing streak is for Coach Bryan Huseman. But when asked what needs to be done to fix it, Huseman responded with three words – be more consistent.

Littlefield’s Jett Hartley kept his eye on the Denver City ball carrier and closed in for the tackle during Thursday’s junior varsity game against the Mustangs. Littlefield beat Denver City, 48-12.

These cyclist made a quick stop in Littlefield on Saturday during their 1,400-mile bike ride from Austin to Denver, Colo., to raise awareness for prostate cancer.

Wildcats continue season Friday against Denver City

The Littlefield Wildcats run out their tunnel and onto the field during Friday’s game at Idalou. Littlefield fell to Idalou, 37-27. They will continue their season this Friday night at Denver City against the Mustangs. That game is set for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off.

Littlefield stepped out of one tough game last week, and steps right into another this Friday night at Denver City against the Mustangs. The Wildcats enter the game coming off a 37-27 loss to Idalou last week. The Mustangs are undefeated after beating Post last Friday, 38-11. The week before, Denver City took out then ranked 6th in the state, Sonora 36-29.
