RICHARD “DOUG” RUBY

Richard Douglas “Doug” Ruby, 87, of Clovis, NM died Wednesday, March 5, 2013 at Retirement Ranch of Clovis. Cremation was arranged by Muffley Funeral Home and High Plains Crematory. Services will be held at a later date. Doug was born Sept. 27, 1926 to Donovan Nelson and Elene Jane (Rodabough) Ruby in Danbury, NE. He married Nora McCool Oct. 7, 1957 in Clovis, NM. He worked as a bricklayer and retired after 45 years. Doug was a member of First Baptist Church in Springlake, and the BAC (Bricklayers International Union). BELINDA HOLLINSWORTH

Belinda Hollinsworth, 52, of Anton, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 in Lubbock. Memorial Services were held Saturday afternoon, March 1, 2014 at Powerhouse Fellowship in Lubbock with Pastor Gary Hughes officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. She was born Sept. 9, 1961 in Lubbock to Larry and Jolene Hollinsworth. Belinda moved to Anton three years ago. She was a member of the Powerhouse Fellowship in Lubbock. Preceding her in death was her mother, Jolene Hollinsworth. She is survived by her daddy, Larry Hollinsworth of Roaring Springs; two brothers, David Haney and Robert Lakin, both of Lubbock; three sisters, Shelly Wianecki, and husband, Keith Wianecki, and Vivian Verton, all of Anton, and Melanie Ann Lakin of Lubbock; two nephews and two nieces.

JANET MAE McANALLY

Janet Mae McAnally, 63, of Sudan, died Thursday afternoon, Feb.20, 2014 in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. A church service will be conducted Monday, March 3, in Visalia, Calif., and later, burial will be in the Visalia Public Cemetery. Local arrangements were by McCarty Funeral Home of Littlefield. Janet was born in Watsonville, Calif., on Sept. 18, 1950, to Ethel Geraldine McAnally and Doin Carlton McAnally. She is survived by a daughter, Jewell Valenzuela, of Sudan.

BARRY BROWN

Barry Brown, 54, formerly of Littlefield, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 in Dallas. Graveside services were held Saturday morning, March 1, 2014 at Littlefield Memorial Park with Johnny Rosemond officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. Barry was born Nov. 12, 1959 in Haskell, Texas to Douglas Brown and Jo Ann Young. He worked at TxDOT in Littlefield for over 30 years. He is survived by three daughters, Kyndra Straughn and husband, Chris of Hutto, Kayla Stojek and husband, Zac, of Round Rock, and Brooklynn Brown of Round Rock; two grandchildren, Maddie and Ethan Straughn of Hutto; his father, Douglas Brown of Dumas; two sisters, Dara Rose and husband, John, of Levelland and Nicole Eslick and husband, Barry, of Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Boleyn. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Walbrick, Doug Mote, Curt Demel, Matthew Demel, Mike Kidd, and Isaac Kidd.
