Heather Lowe to marry Luis Briseno on July 22

Butch and Paula Lowe of Littlefield announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Heather Danielle Lowe, to Luis Jacob Briseno, son of Anatacio and Thelma Briseno of Sudan.

Heather is a 2014 graduate of Littlefield High School, and is currently attending Covenant School of Radiography, and is scheduled to graduate in 2018.

LHS Class of 1967 plans 50 year reunion

The Littlefield High School Class of 1967 will conduct its 50th-year reunion June 2-3, 2017.

Go dressed as backyard casual for the Friday night and Saturday night dinner and visiting to be held in Lubbock at the home of Ann (Farmer) and Nevill Manning.

The Classes of 1966 and 1968 are invited for Saturday night.

There will be optional trips in Lubbock and Littlefield on Saturday morning for touring and lunch (Dutch treat).

Airman 1st Class Daniel Coronado completes basic

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Daniel Coronado graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Coronado is the son of Hilario and Ernestina Coronado of Olton, and is a 2017 graduate of Olton High School.

Alexis Trotter to marry Jared Parker on July 1

Alexis Nacole Trotter and Jared Eugene Parker, both of Littlefield, have announced their engagement and approaching marriage on July 1, 2017 at Le Chateau Venue in Littlefield.

Alexis is the daughter of Kasey Trotter of Littlefield and Crystal Trotter of Andrews. Her grandparents are Kenny and Vivian Trotter and David and Sheila Doty. Her great-grandmothers are Jeanine Thompson and June Smith, all of Littlefield.

2009 LHS graduate earns M.S. at WT A&M

Matthew Scott Ware of Amarillo, a 2009 graduate of Littlefield High School, graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Geology Emphasis at West Texas A&M University’s commencement ceremony, held Saturday, May 13.

Ware plans to work at US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in Bushland, after graduation.
