FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE BLAZE

Monday afternoon, Littlefield Volunteer Fire Fighters responded to a fire in the 900 Block of North Wicker Ave. Fire Fighters arrived on scene at 2:12 p.m. and were able to extinguish the fire. But later on, at 3:42 p.m., were called out again when the fire reignited. The fire came close to the Littlefield ISD Ag Barns located around the area of the fire, but Littlefield Fire Fighters were able to keep the fire from getting to that structure. Littlefield Volunteer Fire Fighter Derek Hill said the cause of the fire is being listed as undetermined. No injuries were reported. Shown are Littlefield Volunteer Fire Fighters battling the blaze the second time they were called out. The fire fighter shown spraying the fire was hitting hot spots left after the blaze was put out.
