In Loving Memory Of Sheila Doty

March 22, 1955 - May 12, 2018

Sheila Doty, 63, of Littlefield, passed away at her home Saturday, May 12, 2018. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Parkview  Baptist  Church  in Littlefield with Pastor Jay Givens officiating. Cremation arrangements  are  under  the  personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. She was born March 22, 1955 in Levelland to Delbert and June Jackson. Sheila graduated from Littlefield High School with the class of 1974.  She married David Doty August 31, 1979 in Littlefield.  Sheila enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and playing golf, especially with the Ladies Golf Club.  She always kept her yard immaculate, and enjoyed shopping, especially with  her  granddaughter.  Sheila  was  a  wonderful  Gran to  her grandkids and was very active in their lives. She rarely missed an event, and loved supporting them in all their activities.  Shelia was a loyal friend, and a hard worker.  She delivered the Meals on Wheels for many years in Littlefield, and later delivered prescriptions for the Prescription Shop in Littlefield. Sheila is survived by her husband David Doty of Littlefield; a son, Daniel Doty and wife, Nichole of Littlefield; a daughter, Crystal Munoz and husband, Orlando of Andrews; mother, June Smith of Littlefield; grandchildren, Koby Trotter, Alexis Parker and husband, Jared, Colton Doty and Cade Doty, all of Littlefield and Jesse and Alyvia Munoz of Andrews; two brothers, Delbert Jackson and wife, Roxanne of Brownwood, and Terry  Jackson  and  wife,  Jackie  of Levelland; step-sister Donna Black of Littlefield; step-brother, Bob Smith of Colorado; brother-in-law, Donald Doty of Lubbock; two sister-in-laws, Karen Gore of Sudan and JoGaye Schmitt and husband,  Larry  of  Hobbs;  fourteen  nieces  and  nephews;  and  many other extended family members and friends. Waiting for Sheila in Heaven was her dad, Delbert Jackson; stepdad, Ray Smith; granddaughter, Cortlynn Doty; step-brother, Gary Smith; brother-in-law, Billy Gore; and nephew, Curtis Jackson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Koby Trotter, Jared Parker, Colton Doty, Cade Doty, Cody Jackson and Delbert Jackson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Littlefield EMS, PO Box 167, Littlefield, TX 79339, or the Littlefield Fire Department.
