Wolverines fall short against HArtley, 73-66


It was a back-and-forth affair Monday night at Amarillo High School that saw the Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ season come to an end at the hands of the Hartley Tigers, 73-66, in the 1A Bi-district round of the play-offs.

The Wolverines finish the season with a mark of 9-11 overall, 6-3 in district play.

Alex Torrez got the game going with a lay-up for Hartley, but Isaiah Solis answered with a three from the left wing off of the assist from Diego Sanchez, giving the Wolverines a, 3-2 lead.
