Erlene Frances Stolk

Erlene  Frances  Stolk,  of Levelland, passed into the lov- ing arms of her Lord and Savior January 29, 2018, at the Lubbock Heart Hospital in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Littlefield. In lieu of flowers, the family re- quests memorials for Emmanuel Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Erlene  was  born  January  5, 1935, in Olney, Texas to Richard Frank Polster and Hertha Othelia Jeske Polster. She married William George Stolk November 7, 1958, and built a family on quiet strength and love. They enjoyed traveling together. She worked for Sheppard Air Force Base, then several other Air Force Bases before retiring from Reese Air Force Base in 1997. During her retirement and up to her passing, she was the secre- tary for NARFE Association and Emmanuel Lutheran Church, as well as, serving as treasurer for both associations at times. She was active and exercised each morning with her close friends. She loved her family and her church and it showed in her actions by what she did for everyone. She loved visiting family at all reunions and sending cards for every occasion. Erlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Duane Larry Polster; sister, Delores Lavonia Hinson; and son, Kieth George Stolk. Left to cherish her memory and pass on her legacy of love for family are: one brother, Delmer Polster and wife, Sandra, of Ben Brook, Texas; one sister, Lynette Lackey of Wichita Falls; sister-in- law, Joyce Polster of Amarillo; two daughters: Bonnie Stephenson and husband, Jason, of Waxahachie, and Frances Lucas and hus- band, Wayne,  of  Levelland;  daughter-in-law,  Cindy  Stolk;  nine grandchildren and their spouses; and 26 great-grandchildren.
