Church service for Sue Chester, 84, of Sudan, who died Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Littlefield, was scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at First Baptist Church in Sudan, with Mike Woods and Guthry Edwards, both of Sudan, officiating. Burial was to be in the Sudan Cemetery, with Ellis Funeral Home of Sudan in charge of arrangements. She was born Nov. 9, 1933 in Newlin, Texas to Charlie and Jewel “Tucker” Glover. She married Billy Chester in Sudan on Dec. 21, 1952. Sue graduated from Sudan High School in 1952. She was a homemaker, and loved to cook. She was a member of the Bridge Club, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sudan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy, in 2016; her grandson, Timothy Lee Graves; and her parents. Sue is survived by her two daughters, Tanya Masten and her husband, Dale, of Aztec, New Mexico, and Terry Graves and her husband, Terry, of Littlefield; her brother, Jerry Don Glover of Lazbuddie; her three grandchildren, Brad Masten, Ryan Masten and Staci Heineman; and six great-grandchildren, Madison Masten, Brett Masten, Eli Masten, Grace Masten, Abram Masten and Johnny Heineman. The family suggests memorials be sent to First Baptist Church, 108 Highway 303, Sudan, Texas, 7937; or Sudan Volunteer EMS and Fire Department, PO Box 491, Sudan, Texas, 79371.
