Rita Kaye Douglas, 57, departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 in Lubbock. Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Anton. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. She was born May 22, 1960 in Lorenzo, Texas to Earnest and Emma Douglas. Rita attended Lorenzo High School. She was a housekeeper, and later went to school and earned her auto mechanic degree. She also worked at Lowe’s grocery store. She loved football, and was a huge Wildcat fan. Preceding her in death are her parents; a brother, C.B. McGregor; and a grandson, Quinton Douglas. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Rochaka Douglas and Sparkle Douglas, both of Littlefield; three grandchildren, Christopher Douglas, Ami DeVaughn, and Kollin DeVaughn; a sister, Alice Douglas and husband, Robert, of Littlefield; two brothers, Edward McGregor and wife, Clara, of Floydada, and Richard Turner and wife, Cynthia, of Lubbock; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
