In Loving Memory Of Bobby Lee Brantley

June 30, 1940 - Sept. 28, 2017 

Bobby  Lee  Brantley,  77,  of Amherst, Texas passed away 28 September 2017, while in residence at Pearsall nursing facility.  He  finished  his  battle  with Alzheimers. Bobby was born on June 30, 1940 in Littlefield, Texas. He was married to Leslie Brantley for 55 years until her departure on June 9, 2014. Bobbys  occupation  was  a farmer in Amherst for more than 30 years. He and Leslie resided in Houston, Texas for 10 years where he worked with his brother, Donny, in various employments. Bobby and Leslie returned to their beloved homestead in Amherst where Bobby continued in self-employment and eventually employment in the transportation industry. Farming was Bobbys passion, while enjoying the simplistic things of life and always expressing a smile joined with joy while traveling lifes trials. He was a loving father and will be deeply missed. We love him but know he will patiently wait until our turn to join them all. Bobby is survived by his son, Brad, his wife, Gina and children: Seth, and Alexandria. Bobby and Leslie had four great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Jose, Klohe, and Martin Maurice and Alexs husband, Martin Delgado of Dublin, Texas. Brad, Gina, and Seth reside in Ft. Clark, Texas just outside Bracketville, Texas where Brad is employed as a Teacher of Naval Science in Uvalde, Texas High School.  Bobby  has  two  surviving  brothers:  Billy  Brantley  of Littliefield, Texas and Donny Brantley of Spring, Texas. Bobby is preceded in death by Leslie (wife) of Amherst and eldest son, David Brantley of Dallas, Texas.
