Salvador Cruz, 78, of Littlefield, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 at his home. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Brian Wood officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. Cruz was born May 3, 1939 in El Porvenir, Mexico, to Julio and Celia Cruz. Salvador married Celia Silva in June of 1969. He worked at American Cotton Growers for 30 years, before retiring. His hobbies were tending to his garden, and his fruit trees. He was a jokester, and a hard worker who had a zest for life. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Celia Cruz of Littlefield; four daughters, Grace Miller and husband, Keith, of El Paso, Rosa Rios and husband, Elias of Amarillo, Esmeralda Rios of Lubbock and Delia Davidson and husband, Larry of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Fernando Cruz and Manuel Cruz; and three sisters, Dolores Figueroa, Isaura Perales, and Maria Hinojosa.
