Church service for Daniel Davila, 51, of Sudan, who died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Lubbock, was scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe, with Father Rene Perez of Muleshoe officiating. Rosary was said Thursday night, July 13, 2017 at Ellis Funeral Home in Sudan. Burial as in the Sudan Cemetery, with Ellis Funeral Home of Sudan in charge of arrangements. Daniel was born June 4, 1966 in Amherst, to Alfonzo M. and Emilia Gonzales Davila. Daniel was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, San Juana Davila; and his two brothers, Faustino Davila and Armando Davila. Daniel is survived by his five sisters, Torivia Davila of Littlefield, Maria Martinez of Sudan, Minnie Davila of Sudan, Mary Lou Wood of Littlefield, and Yolanda Rodriguez of Littlefield; his two brothers, San Amado Davila of Sudan, and Alfonso Davila, Jr. of Sudan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
