Littlefield baseball team loses double-header

The Littlefield Wildcats’ baseball team faced Childress in a double-header, on Saturday. The Wildcats lost both games and fell to 0-3 on the season. In the first inning of the first game, Childress had runners of third and second bases with no outs. Littlefield got out of the jam by throwing out runners at home plate and third base. The Wildcats ended the top of the first inning without giving up runs. The Wildcats went quietly in the first inning, striking out three times. Childress was unable to score in the top of the second inning.
