Lee Alan Goss, Sr., 60, died at home in Maydelle, Tx., Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. Services were held Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 5, at the Chapel of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with Boren-Conner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was born on Oct. 1, 1953 in Borger, to Wanda and Benny Goss. He graduated from Littlefield High School, and was the assistant manager of Higginbotham-Bartlett Lumber Company in Littlefield for several years. Later, he began working in the oil business, before going into the construction business. He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Goss; his grandparents, Elbert and Vera Mitchell, and Bluford and Lexie Goss; and daughter-in-law, Jamie Goss. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Bollinger Goss; a son, Alan Goss; daughters, Rebecca Goss, Michelle Garner, Wendy and Tommy Watson, Tammy and Marcus Timmons and Georgia and Brian Dunn; his mother, Wanda Goss of Littlefield; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Margaret Goss of Bolivar, MO, and Brian and Debra Goss of Whitharral; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherlyn and Wayland Hutto of Fowler, Colo., and Sheila and Stan Edwards of Pensacola, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons; special friends, Jim and Jeannie Swink, Al Clark and Mike Reynolds. Pallbearers were Alan Goss, Mike Reynolds, David Berry, Brian Dunn, Tommy Watson, Marcus Timmons, Curtis Goss and Brian Goss. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Aaron Watson, Dylan Garner, Hunter Garner, Tristen Timmons, Luke Goss, Braxton Dunn and David Timmons.
