Geneva Lynn, 13-year employee as Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District Clerk, was honored Thursday afternoon at a come-and-go retirement reception at the NRCS office in Littlefield. Many of her relatives were among the many guests who attended, to wish her well in her retirement. Included were her husband, a brother and sister-in-law, her husband’s sister and husband and daughter-in-law, her youngest daughter, and granddaughter. Shown with her are Soil and Water Conservation District board members, left to right, Roy Thompson, Larry Edwards, and Jimmy McCurry. She was presented with a card with money inside it. As of Monday, Feb. 3, she will be officially retired. Her first day at work in that office was April 1, 2001.
