MOUSE TRAP POWER

Mouse traps are used to power these cars built by Coach Been’s sixth grade science students at Springlake-Earth School. Energy for the car’s motors is transformed when the trap closes, the metal bar pulls a string that has been wound around the axle of the mouse trap car, making it power the wheels. The students are, front row, TJ Radford, Shelton Bradfute, Angel Escamilla, Robert Mendoza and Nick Gonzales. Standing in back are Paige Burks, Sebastian Vela, Joe Matthew Cruz, Taegan Everett, Juan Vargas and Lindsey Lopez.
