County-wide stock show starts Thursday

Karson Hanlin, four-year-member of the Littlefield 4-H Club, will be exhibiting two lambs and a heifer this weekend at the 2014 Lamb County Junior Livestock Show. He is shown here with his Cross lamb, “Timmy”, as he was working with it Monday afternoon after school. He is the son of Cary and Carrie Hanlin of Littlefield, and is looking forward to all of the shows he will be entering this year.

Thursday afternoon, Lamb County 4-H and FFA members from every community in Lamb County will begin bringing their livestock show animals to the Lamb County Ag and Community Center in Littlefield for the 2014 Lamb County Junior Livestock Show. All animals must be in place by 4:30 p.m. Friday. All 4-H and FFA exhibitors must be enrolled in a school in Lamb County, or home schooled, and must be validated in Lamb County, to be eligible to participate in the Lamb County Junior Livestock Shows.
