Richard Dean Neal March 1, 1959 - Dec. 30, 2013

Funeral service was held Friday evening, Jan. 3, 2014, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lubbock, for Richard Dean Neal, 54, of Lubbock, formerly of Littlefield. Memory Gardens was in charge of cremation. Richard died Dec. 30, 2013 in his home in Lubbock. He was born March 1, 1959 in Sturgeon, MO, to Russell Kennet Neal and Alice Parylee Ott Neal. He graduated from Sturgeon High School on May 19, 1977. He was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness on March 24, 2012. He worked as a machinist for many years, and enjoyed it very much. He was a very kind, patient man, and loved his family and friends very much. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth Ray, Lawrence Edward and Thomas Preston Neal; and a sister, Mildred Darlene Neal Bohrer. Surviving are two daughters, Amanda Neal of Littlefield and Alexa Mora of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Marcus, Maliya, and Mariah Mora; four sisters, Vivian LaVerne Neal Jennings, Geraldine Viola Neal Tinker, Myrtle Fern Neal Ritchie, and Carol Maxine Neal Bowne; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
