Lubbock man sentenced for manslaughter

Wednesday afternoon, Donald Michael Boyter, 57, of Lubbock, entered a guilty plea to charges of intoxicated manslaughter, and was sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Corrections. Lamb County District Judge Felix Klein received the guilty plea, and found that he was guilty of the death of Bobby Joe Wisener, 66, of Nolanville on Saturday night, Nov. 17, 2012 on a Highway 84 curve at Bainer Switch, east of Littlefield.
