County’s employment rate increases

Texas Workforce Commission reports that the seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in Texas fell to 6.2 percent in October, which is down from 6.3 percent in September. According to that same report, Lamb County’s rate for October was standing at 6.3%, which is down from September’s rate of 6.7%. In October, 2013, there were 398 Lamb County people unemployed, while 5,894 were employed. During September, there were 416 Lamb County people unemployed, while 5,761 were employed.
