Bulldogs bite Hornets, 54-43

The Sudan Hornets boys’ basketball team began their season, Tuesday night, against the Anton Bulldogs. Ty Shaw gave Sudan an early 2-0 lead, but Anton went on an 11-2 run to take an 11-4 lead. A basket from Reece Harper and a couple of free throws from Ajay Barron trimmed Anton’s lead to 11-8. The Bulldogs lead 13-8 at the end of the first quarter. Tanner Fisher made four free throws to pull Sudan within one. Then after Anton scored, Fisher made a basket and a free throw to tie the game at 18-18.
