ROGER RUSSELL, JR.

Roger Lee Russell, Jr., 65, of Olton, died Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2024, at Olton Methodist Church, with Brother Kyle Brock, Pastor Tom Carter, and Rev. Edward Louis Watters, officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Plainview under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Ramage Funeral Directors, in Olton.

Roger was born Nov. 19, 1958, in Plainview, TX, to Roger Sr. and Lucy Mae (Phylow) Russell. Roger graduated from Olton High School in 1978. On March 1, 1979, he married Cindy Williams. Roger was a farmer and he thoroughly enjoyed working. He was a jack of all trades and loved horses.
