Jerry Lee Harp, 81, of Levelland, Texas, passed away Friday, April, 26, 2024 in Littlefield, Texas.

Jerry was born November 15, 1942 in Bailey County just outside of Muleshoe, Texas to Edgar "Edd" Harp and Josie "Lucille" (Carter) Harp. He married the love of his life, Joyce Lynn Ellsworth on September 17, 1985 in Monahans, Texas.

Jerry was a bus driver for the Levelland Independent School District for many years. He was a great cook and got to use his love of cooking as bakery manager at Furrs. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching game shows. "Grandpa" had a great sense of humor and he loved his family very much. He was a Godly man who attended Fifth Street Baptist Church in Levelland, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Harp of Levelland, Texas; a son, Charlie Harp of Winnsboro, Texas; three daughters, Malisa Beck of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Sara Kelly Dyer and husband, LJ of Andrews, Texas, and Jennifer McKinnon and husband, Nathan of Littlefield, Texas; a brother Keith Harp and wife, Linda of Brownfield, Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, "Edd" and "Lucille" Harp; and two daughters, Rhonda Bristow, and Janet Harp.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, Texas with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be LJ Dyer, Zackary Dyer, Nathan McKinnon, Layne McKinnon, Cam Dockery and Terry Sanders. Interment will follow in Smyer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
