The school year is winding down for 2023-2024, and man what a year it has been. Both of our kids have grown so much, and Jaden completed his first year of school in the Pre-K3 program at Primary.

Golden headlines Lady Cat softball All-District Awards

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team had several members earn All-District honors, led by senior, Taryn Golden, who was selected as the District’s Offensive MVP. Sophomore, Bryndle Ray, earned first team All-District Shortstop honors.
On May 4th, Littlefield Eagles Boxing Club competed in Clovis, N.M. in the Cinco De Mayo Boxing Tournament. The Eagles once again came out victorious with four medals and two championship belts. Jayce Camacho, 10-years old and Keyshawn Aguilera came home with a medal and both, Isabella Jaramillo and Aaron Prieto (Pictured) came home with two medals and two championship belts. Olton baseball well represented on District 3-2A teams

The Olton Mustang’s varsity baseball team was well represented on the District 3-2A All-District team with five first team selections and four second-team selections. Junior, Alan Vasquez was selected to the All-District first team as a pitcher, while senior, Cole Montgomery, was selected as a middle infielder and senior, Jacob Marquez, was selected as an outfielder. Junior, Jaxon Tomsu, made the first team as a catcher, while freshman, Jett Tomsu, was selected as a utility player.

Hornets come up short against Broncos in game 1

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team dropped a heartbreaker in game one of their Class 2A Area play- off series with Clarendon, 11- 10 in nine innings on Thursday in Floydada. With the loss, the Hornets fall to 19- 8 overall on the season.

Sudan falls to Broncos in game two, 9-2

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team dropped game two of their 3A Area Play-off series with Clarendon on Friday, 9-2, in Floydada. With the loss, the Hornets’ season comes to an end with a mark of 19-9 overall.
